Starmountain Survey & Consultancy is gespecialiseerd in scheepsgeometrie en het ontwerpen en implementeren van maatgesneden meet- en monitoringssystemen in de hydrografische en landmeetkundige vakgebieden. Om maximale nauwkeurigheid uit de diverse systemen te halen meet Starmountain Survey & Consultancy ook de geometrie van de hydrografische opnameplatforms (schepen, voertuigen) door middel van fotogrammetrie en tachymetrie. Van diverse survey schepen is inmiddels de bootgeometrie vastgesteld door fotogrammetrisch en tachymetrisch inmeten, met (sub-) millimeter offset metingen als resultaat. Bovendien kalibreert Starmountain ook de aanwezige motion en heading sensor binnen hun specificaties, daarbij gebruik makend van autocollimatie metingen en optical tooling. Het spreekt vanzelf dat de scheepsgeometrie gemeten wordt onder stricte kwaliteitsgarantie en kwaliteitscontrole.

Starmountain Survey & Consultancy is specialised in survey vessel geometry (offset survey) and designing and implementing purpose built measuring and monitoring systems in the hydrographic and land surveying field. In order to achieve maximum accuracy Starmountain Survey & Consultancy conducts offset surveys using photogrammetry and tachymetry. A wide range of hydrographic survey vessels had their geometry measured using either photogrammetry or total station, resulting in (sub-) millimetre offset measurement accuracies. In addition to that Starmountain also calibrates/aligns the motion and heading sensors within their specifications using optical tooling and autocollimation measurements or based on sensor output. Obviously all ship geometry measurements are carried out under strict Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC).
